doctor's tragedy short film | 2000's crew cab

This Chevy-inspired crew cab, I designed as a hard surface artist for an upperclassman animation capstone during my freshman year at university. This capstone consisted of the short film, A Doctor's Tragedy, sponsored by the University of New Mexico's Film and Digital Arts department.

The subject matter specifically consists of an early 2000’s Chevy Silverado-inspired truck as the general method of transportation and visual grittiness within the short film. This asset being one of several works I contributed to the project.

In minding the artistic context, the general aesthetic of the capstone film consisted of non-photoreal, base-color, and edge-unashamed visuals. Which, in dedication to making contribution, I stepped outside of my own artistic standards to develop visually consistent assets for the project.
