doctor's tragedy short film | laboratory equipment
Three traditional pieces of laboratory equipment, one specifically with 2000’s influence. These props I designed as a hard surface artist for an upperclassman animation capstone during my freshman year at university. This capstone consisted of the short film, A Doctor's Tragedy, sponsored by the University of New Mexico's Film and Digital Arts department.

The subject matter for the props consists of a graduated beaker, a Bunsen burner, and a portable centrifuge—one of several collections of work which I contributed to the project.
In minding the artistic context, the general aesthetic of the capstone film consisted of non-photoreal, base-color, and edge-unashamed visuals. Which, in dedication to making contribution, I stepped outside of my own artistic standards to develop visually consistent assets for the project.
